First Friday!!!
6-8 p.m.$20 per child.
On the first Friday of every month, your children age 6 and older are invited to a pottery and pizza party. You may leave your children with us. They will paint a piece of pottery-each month we do a different piece-and we will provide pizza and beverages and supervision, while you have a few hours to yourself to enjoy a stroll or dinner on the avenue.
Glass Fusing
Glass fusing is an art form in which layers of glass are arranged by the artist (you!) and then heated in a kiln to the point where the glass fuses into a single piece. The glass comes in many colors and may be translucent (see-through), opaque, or iridescent (having a shimmery rainbow surface over another color). Introduction to the Pottery Wheel
Sunday, October 19, 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.A chance to try it and see if you like it. Most participants make 2 pieces, which are available for painting (included in cost) one week later. (We cannot, however, guarantee that pieces will survive drying and firing.) $35.
